I think the hardest thing for Muslims to do is stop fearing "how they see us" and start asking "who am I?". Only then can anything such as an honest "Muslim Cinema" exist - when individuals start critically looking at their own life stories and personal journeys, should they really attempt film. Cinema may have spectacle, but at its heart, it is an examination of human experience.
